Once she's finished keep repeating the strategy from phase 1, just look out for her new ground AoE attacks that you cannot block. She does a series of attacks after this where she casts ground AoEs beneath you so you'll need to play defensively here, and you cannot block them, so you must dodge. These are hard to see, but you can spam dodge if you aren't sure where they are and you'll usually be ok. In phase two you'll need to dodge her tornadoes. All of these attacks are blockable in phase 1, so just manage your Stamina and attack between them if possible, using your Gifts as often as you can. She usually does a twirl, a two-hit swipe and a forward facing ground smash. The strategy is to say close to her, block her attacks and then counter in the small windows that are available. Use gifts that reduce all damage taken like Iron Will / Ablative Blood instead.įor this fight I used the Zweihander and the Atlas Blood Code. All of her spells do pure physical damage, there is no need to buff your defense with any elemental resists.Gains 5% Physical resist to all types in Phase 2. Highly resistant to Lightning and Crush damage. Harmonia if you restore her memory and Queen's Throat if not.Bosses are special Enemies that feature their own arena, a large and prominent health bar, and a variety of unique moves and abilities. You will need to choose the appropriate Blood Code, Gifts, Weapons, Blood Veil, and Companion in order to defeat these formidable foes. Or I suppose you could take that second character through all 4 endings itself if you just want to rush the endings for the achievement rather than push through tougher playthroughs if your main is in a tougher NG+ cycle, but just like I said before you'll have to get all 4 on that second character as well regardless of which ones you've seen on the first character.Successor of the Throat is a Boss in Code Vein. Just know that any progress you make on that second character won't count towards the first one, so you'll still have to go back to it if you want to count endings towards the achievement. Feel free to experiment around with other characters if you want to test new ideas or something. You can create a character, get 3 of the endings, create another character and get one of the endings, then go back to the first character and get the fourth ending and you'll get the achievement when you clear on the first character. Progress on one doesn't erase progress on another. I mean.you can play as many characters as you want. I figured I would try to save people from wasting their time too. I now feel like I've just wasted 2 days trying to get this done. I have seen both "good ending" cutscenes in the space of 2hrs. Re-loaded older save before I had started the end boss encounter, restored Io's memories, killed boss (both phases) - No trophy.Įdit: Decided to give it one last chance and did it again, this time I restored all but the last one of Io's memories and. Re-loaded game, restored Io's memories, (was on 2nd phase already at this point) killed boss - No trophy At this point I had no idea if I did the "good ending" or "alt good ending" in my 1st playthrough.Ĭompleted game again for good ending without restoring Io's memories - No trophy Read the instructions on Bandai Namco's own support website. I got the good ending on my first playthrough - Got Dweller in the Dark trophyĭid a second playthrough on same character - Got Heirs trophyĭid a 3rd playthrough, same character again - Got To Eternity trophyĬhecked online and found out about secret 4th ending. I'm just putting this up here as a warning not to waste your time going for this achievement.
